Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the process take?
From start to finish, our process takes 1-3 months. After booking a consultation, you will receive an email within 3days to schedule a time to meet within 1-2 weeks. After meeting, you will receive the design proposal and estimate within 5 business days. If you choose to move forward, we will schedule a call to discuss design details, add you to our construction calendar and send the design within 2 weeks. Our average project takes 2-4 days to complete construction. Please contact us or see our consultation page for our current availability.
What services do you provide?
From design to build, we demolish and prep the site, grade, install irrigation (valves, drip, controllers), drought-tolerant and native plants and trees, mulch, gravel, and boulders.
We specialize in simple lawn conversions and no longer install sprinklers and sod.
How much will it cost?
Our project minimum is $8-10k. Most of our projects are in the $10-20k range, but every project is unique. We are committed to finding solutions within your budget.
We require a $1,000 deposit upon delivering the design and scheduling construction and the remainder is due upon completion. We accept cash and checks, and credit cards with an additional +3% fee.
What areas do you serve?
The majority of our projects are in East Sac, Land Park, Curtis Park, Tahoe Park, West Sac, Pocket, South Sac, Elk Grove, Rosemont, Rancho Cordova, Arden, Carmichael, and Natomas.
We are unable to server Woodland, Davis, Roseville, Folsom, and beyond at this time.
What if I need additional work outside of your services?
Our projects stand out with their unique planting designs and soft-scape, whereas others stand out for their skilled trade. We believe that concrete, pavers, masonry, fencing, tree work, carpentry, and artificial turf are services best done by contractors who specialize in each trade and hold those specific licenses.
We recommend completing other work first, as plants, irrigation, and mulch are the final touches of the landscape.
Do you maintain the landscape?
While all landscapes will require some care to stay clean, tidy, and weed free, our installations are low maintenance and all of our clients are provided with a comprehensive plant maintenance and irrigation guide to take the guesswork out of maintaining your new landscape so it can flourish with little time and attention. Please note that this is not something most companies offer and a huge value for clients to have.
